The Kinokuniya here rarely stock enough quantities of the mags with Arashi on the cover that they're almost never even on the shelves, so it's really nice to see so many!

I've had Aiba's anan (no.1800, 2012.03.28) on reserve at the store since March ^^; I didn't get any magazines in April, but since I was collecting my May and June subscriptions of Liniere, I decided to get the anan as well. Then I passed by the shelves and saw that there's TV Guide (2012 5/12-5/18) and Weekly the Television (2012 no.20, 5/12-5/18) with Sho on the cover, which I immediately picked up and carried with me to the cashier.
Conclusion: the anan is gorgeous, although I would have preferred Aiba's Freecell, which I didn't get because it's much more expensive. Both the TV Guide and Weekly the Television are so pretty! *_*

Well I bought these at least a couple of weeks ago, (these pics were taken around that time, too, but never had the time to post them) but I have yet to buy the Aiba anan that's been on my desk at my office since it first arrived at the store, and I have really been too busy to do much else Arashi-related these days. I wasn't supposed to spend on magazines this year, but television guides are a lot cheaper, so I think of them as an exception when Arashi/members are on the cover. Although Aiba's anan is another exception (too adorable, okay) and, uhm, I've ordered April's H magazine because the cover looked shiny.

Well, actually the main reason I'm posting here is because it's been awhile. I'll try to remember to post things from my last trip to Japan here, and, um, watch more Arashi TV ^^;
Basically this year I'm trying to cut down on my magazine buying, but I guess TV guides are okay, as they don't strain my budget too much. And I only get them when they're really worthwhile. Like these:

I don't really make a habit of buying non-Sho (or the occasional Jun) magazines, since there's only so much money to go around :p But in the case of Aiba's new M Girl photo shoot, I just could not resist the pretty *_*

It's hard to catch up with all the magazines that they've been in recently - I still have a stack of magazines yet to be bought at the office, and brand new ones still shrink-wrapped in my room. This, though, is one of my favourites. I always like MORE because they come with freebies, and the photos are usually nice. It's also one of the few magazines that Kinokuniya (KLCC) will definitely stock a lot of, because non-Arashi fans buy them as well. For most of the other magazines, you'd have to order them if you want to make sure you get a copy - the Japanese department tend to order very few copies, and they almost always sold or reserved out before they even hit the shelves.

Usually ordering magazines the month before they're released (or even during the month they're released) works just fine with me, but when I tried to order this I was told that the supplier was out of stock. D: And the store's copies are all reserved/pre-ordered, too. D: D:

First of all, this. Yeah, even the Kinokuniya Japanese Department staff were surprised that I didn't have this yet. They were looking at me when I put in the order for it and they said, "are you sure you don't have this one yet."

My copy came in! I was just thinking that I started this blog to do a Shukudai-kun rewatch project, but these days I'm posting more on magazines...? Reason: I usually don't have the time to watch a TV show all the way to the end these days, so I haven't been doing my Shukudai-kun rewatch.

Only two or three copies come into the store, so you probably won't see it on the shelves. I'm lucky; Kit came in for work earlier and noticed it, and immediately put one copy aside for me. By the time I went out to reserve an extra copy, it was sold out. They're reordering, though, so make a reservation with them to get a copy!

Oh, be still my heart. This is probably one of my favourite Sho solo photoshoots/interviews now. My copy came in the store during the weekend (everything always happens when I'm not around. It's like a law or something.) and yesterday I forgot my purse when I went to work, so I only managed to purchase it today.
Now, I know it's supposed to show the different sides of Sho-kun, which I love and appreciate muchly. I was showing this mag to JetJet and Kit and this is basically what I said, while turning the pages:

So, my copy finally arrived. The moment I saw the cover, I was so glad that I ordered this! Usually I won't order mags, and just decide whether or not I'll get them when they're in the store and I could look at them first. But these days the Japanese Department are seriously cutting down on their non-K-Pop related mags, so the mags sell out before they even hit the shelves, more often than not. *sigh*
