Android AU 2011 Summer CMs

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

I really shouldn't be posting when I don't have much to say, but I love these CMs so much! Haven't seen all of them yet, but Riida really awes me in the ones I've seen. His expressions! XD The Juntoshi ones are some of the best, but my absolute favourite so far is the Omatase ad. I think Riida is now officially my current #3. (#1 and #2 won't ever change, but the other three spots are ever-rotating)

I can't be the only one who wishes these phones are sold in my country (>_>).

Neen

The unofficial. Got this notebook at the Malaysian screening/Nino's birthday celebration. It actually has the words "Malaysia 10-11 Dome Screening" or something like that on the back.

Goods

Well, my DVD has finally arrived! The unofficial photobook is basically the only one of the 10-11 concert that I could find. Jun's anan was something I had been looking forward too, and the cuteness does not disappoint. I still miss the NatsuNiji Jun, but I'm liking his current hair a lot, too.

10-11 Scene Dome DVD, thoughts and flailings

Monday, June 20, 2011

I'm glad that they did some of the things that they did at the Tokyo Dome concert, because I really wanted to see Aiba sing Ohno's intro to "kotoba yori taisetsu na mono", not to mention Jun's "yonda? yonda?... kichatta..." part in during the encore. Somehow while it was playful and teasing during the Tokyo Dome show in this one it's kind of swoon-worthy, with him speaking in double entendres.

Of course the Aimiya is precious, especially with Nino tearing up Aiba's shirt - I saw a picture of Aiba with the torn shirt in an unofficial photobook and was wondering how it happened; now I know XD - and him not wanting to sing their "new song", Lu-tas.

I love Sho's performance of "T.A.B.O.O." in this DVD so much more than the Koku one, because he seemed more loose and relaxed. "Come Back To Me" and "Magical Song" were also better in this concert, I think, although I may prefer watching the Koku version of "1999*4##111 " just because of the part where Nino waddles up the stairs like a cute penguin. (He does that in this one, too, but the camera angles were better in the other.) Sho's rap scenes in "Believe" and "Still" and "Mada Ue wo" makes me fall for him all over again (and then spoil it by looking at the new Jun anan and saying "oh, do I have a new ichiban?" XP) and... yeah. This DVD is pretty much amazing. Even without the extras, it would have been.

But, oh, what kya-worthy extras. The training camp is so full of Sakumoto win. And even if you're not a Sakumoto shipper, Evil!Jun + Fail!Sho is always a good thing. I'm actually impressed of and scared for Sho in this one, because, you know, when it's happening to you it's not funny at all. It really is scary. Terrifying, even. The fact that he managed to go through it, and laugh at himself about it, is really... I don't even know what to say. This is why I love this guy. Their sleeping arrangements was also perfect for me, since it has all my favourite pairings - Aimiya, Sakuraiba, Sakumoto, and Juntoshi. I swear, this training camp is so full of fodder for fics. Jun in his glasses and pyjamas? New thing to be shipped by me. Makes him look kind of like an ossan, but a really cute one.

I love so many things about the DVD, really. The jacket-making, the PV-making, were both lovely to watch, and Aiba in particular is so very pretty in them. The solo interviews were precious. (What Sho said about Jun! What Oh-chan said about Jun!) The training camp, their BBQ session, Aiba not wanting to give up but learning to give up, them basically acting like family with each other... it really warms my heart. The song that they recorded is probably going to be my one of my new favourites, and Sho playing the piano (two things I love, together) is perfection. Well, really when I listened to Sho, I kept hearing the off-key parts more than the prettiness of it (but it is a pretty song, and Sho did well, considering) but my favourite part is watching the rest watch him.

How can anyone not think Ohmiya are cute, seriously.

The way he's looking at Sho.

The way he's looking at Sho!

The way these two are in a world of their own XD

In conclusion, this DVD is absolutely, positively worth buying, and I can't wait for my copy to arrive.

Dome DVD Screening + Nino's Birthday!

Sunday, June 12, 2011

Well, the celebration was actually done on the 18th, one day after his birthday. I was really impressed with such a huge turn out! There were slightly over 50 people, from what I heard. I was really nervous about not knowing anyone there, but thankfully Kak Syiena and Hana were around and some of the other girls were also very friendly. There were people I recognised from the Kokuritsu screening, but since they hadn't introduced themselves during that time I wasn't sure who they were ^^;;

But of course, once the screening started, everyone was happy to flail together! Since the DVD started out with the solo interviews there was a lot of kya-ing every time an ichiban appeared. Kind of funny; I found myself kya-ing over MatsuJun appearing on the big screen more than Sho-kun. But, the thing is, when it was Aiba, there was a (very brief) moment of silence, and then it's like everyone realised - hey, no one's screaming for Aiba! - and then everyone started to kya together while laughing a little. (Oh, Aiiba. You know we love you.)

I've watched the DVD before yesterday, but somehow there's something about watching it on the big screen with so many other fans - it's magic. The mood is somewhat like being in a concert, you know, you're with so many other people who may or may not be strangers but you understand each other perfectly and still lean towards each other giggling over stuff like, "god, did you see what Sho did back there? He's so dorky!" Rather than the concert, which is perfection in itself, of course, this other scenery that I was looking at made me so happy about this fandom. Especially when everyone's voices were raised together in song - it's like when we're all together Arashians are invincible.

When we were done with the first disc we had a short break for food and Nino's birthday celebration. The cake was gorgeous. Everyone sang happy birthday and then rushed to take a picture of it. ^^

Then, it's on to the next disc, followed by another short break before the third. During the encore most of the people were jumping around and everyone was singing along.

Vs. Arashi! #129

Saturday, June 4, 2011

Aired On: March 3rd, 2011

This is the "Taisetsu na koto wa subete kimi ga oshiete kureta" Team episode, but I really think of this as the "Haruma Miura episode." ^^ apparently Haruma Miura is a big fan of VsA and was excited about being on the show. as a result, he got to choose his favourite games for the show. Arashi's "Plus One" guest is the comedy duo Football Hour.

The first game is Pinball Runner, where Miura-kun runs with Erika Toda leading the support team. He got both the pink balls and finished with 180 points. Oh-chan's the runner for Team Arashi. Since Miura-kun announced that he wanted to get 300 points earlier, Ohno said that he's aiming for 700 points. He managed to get... 80 points. He blamed Iwao-san for yelling out the wrong numbers.

Vsa129-2

Next favourite game of Miura-kun's is Rolling Coin Tower. It's Sakumiya vs. Miura-kun and Erika Toda. In order to catch up on their 100-point gap, all Team arashi had to do was to make sure the tower doesn't fall in their turn. Nino then claimed that they would attack with only 10-point coins, and Erika said that her team would do the same. Of course, when Nino started the game, he did so with three unbalanced 3-point coins, which made the foundation of the tower shaky. Nino is sneaky. :p Unfortunately, his strategy backfired and the tower fell on his turn. Now the gap between the teams is even larger.

The third game chosen by Miura-kun is Dual Curling, with Ohba and Iwao-san playing for Team Arashi. The drama team's players were all in their teens, which really made me think, huh, Arashi have really grown up. (As if I haven't realised this before!) There was a minor conflict in Team Arashi over who would be the starter - Ohno said Iwao-san, and Iwao-san said Ohno, and Aiba said never mind, he would do it, but they asked Takei Emi (one of the other team players) who said she wanted Iwao-san to do it, so he did. Aiba managed to get one of his markers in the 50 point area, but it got knocked out by Iwao-san's marker. Aiba was aiming his x2 marker for the 50 points after that, but it didn't even reach the 10-point area, and when asked to give his excuse, he tried to, but couldn't quite explain and said he'd fax it later (lol). The one-on-one showdown was between Jun and Miura-kun. Jun totally failed, getting 30 points in comparison to Miura-kun's 130 points. It was cute when Jun was trying to find an excuse for his fail - he blamed the stick, so the rest of them asked him to apologise to it, which he refused to do.

Dual Curling was followed by Cliff Climb, with Miura-kun and Suda-kun climbing for the drama team. Jun, already in a kind of a sulk over his earlier fail, continued to be bullied by the rest of Team Arashi. Arashi's climbers should be Goto-san and aiba, but because Goto-san was afraid of heights (and everyone else wanted to continue bullying Jun), MatsuJun took over his place. Jun did well, but fell off after hitting the 50-point button and didn't get the perfect score he was aiming for. The rest of the team stood up before him and asked if he was going to blame the grip this time. He apologised again for his Dual Curling excuse.

Vsa129-7Vsa129-8

Haruma Miura's favourite game is the last for this episode - Bound Hockey. Arashi was behind by 280 points, and needed to get 300 points in order to win. Jun was feeling a lot of pressure (especially since if they lost, he probably knew he was going to be the MDa) and Ohno stood by him, saying that Jun doesn't have to worry, because he would be Jun's guardian angel. *ah, be still, my Juntoshi-loving heart* In the end, Arashi did very well, but they only managed to get 200 points, so the drama team won.

Vsa129-9

When the MDA started, Jun already knew it was going to be him, and was really fidgety. He chose himself too, together with the rest of them. I love this guy. <3
